A Shadow Fixation is a recurring thought or set of thoughts about some dark or forbidden or evil action.

It is very dicey whether to have someone do this package, or to refer them to an exceptional clinician. If there is any doubt at all I simply must refer.

However, in rare cases, where this kind of thing shows up, and is not easily handled by a set of standard case debugs, the situation might be able to be addressed with this package.

Extreme care needs to be taken that the actual issue isn't that this is someone who either is on the precipice of, but can barely restrain themselves from committing some violent criminal action, or already has or is doing such.

If there is any doubt at all, due to the risks, these folks must be referred to outstanding therapists.

Where the person is other wise very balanced, congruent, and meets a number of criteria, etc., but has a thought pattern of this sort it might be ok to handle in this manner.
