Epistemology means knowing how we know what we know. Epistemology explores how we know something. In other words, we ask the question, How do you (or I) know?

Isn't that an interesting question! How do you know it's interesting? =)

For instance, How do you know what's real? The experience of reality actually varies from person to person.

A rather profound exercise is:

1. Pick a personal limitation to work with.

2. "How do I know ?" ... you will find an answer to this.

3. Plug your answer from question 2, into the blank in: How do I know ____ ?

4. Repeat step 3 twenty or more times.
